Bundeena, a beach suburb on the outskirts of Sydney, Australia surrounded by lush national parklands. “Bundeena” is an Aboriginal word meaning "noise like thunder”, presumed to be a reference to the sound of waves crashing on the shore.
Chloe, from England; a country too often cold to frequent the sand and surf.
“I first met Chloe about three months ago and she instantly captivated me. Her love for Australian beaches influenced my choice of scenery. I shot in black and white to keep the images fresh and natural. She’s a striking girl, so it wasn’t necessary for her to wear make-up. My intention had been to juxtapose some seascape shots alongside her portraits to elicit her carefree nature and demonstrate her connection with and love for the ocean and its infinity.”
