NSS Loves....KOSMEA Certified Organic Rose Hip Oil

Rose hip oil has long been praised for its skin healing properties. Clinically proven to fade scars, stretch marks and even wrinkles with long-term use, rose hip oil assists in regenerating skin cells and repairing damaged skin tissue caused by exposure to the sun and nasty free radicals.

It may also provide relief for other unwanted skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, pigmentation and uneven skin tone.

KOSMEA’s Rose Hip Oil is 100% certified organic, ethically sourced from the stem of wild roses grown in the Maluti Mountains of Lesotho in South Africa.  The nourishing oil is rich in Vitamin A, antioxidants and essential fatty acids including omega -3, -6 and -9.  It easily absorbs into the skin, with only a hint of fragrance and is suitable for all skin types.

Here’s hoping with regular use (6 drops per day), my wrinkles will slowly disappear!

NSS Loves...La Mav’s Sunkissed Bronzer

In Winter I develop what I call a ‘white tan’; the tan which results from an absence of exposure to sunshine and prolonged hours in a heated office environment. Although a ‘white tan’ is quite enviable in Asia, it’s NOT the look I personally aim for!

That said, I don’t like to go OTT with tanning lotion in the cooler months, but I do rely on a good bronzer to achieve sun-tinted cheeks and an overall look of health and vitality all year round.

My favourite bronzer right now is La Mav’s Sunkissed Bronzer, which is a medium-coloured mineral bronzer suitable for all skin types. It gives my skin a healthy glow and is perfect for contouring. It’s also non-comodegenic, so it doesn’t clog my pores!

As with all La Mav products, the bronzer is certified organic, free of fillers and talcs and, most importantly, not tested on animals. It’s infused with Vitamin C and Rosehip Oil, which are proven ingredients for keeping skin youthful, naturally.

I’ve bragged about my love for multi-use products many times before and this bronzer is another one to add to that list. Should you choose to use it in the summer months, it’s water resistant and contains a broad spectrum SPF15 for protection from the sun’s rays. Sorted!

To use, simply apply either over moisturiser or foundation with a kabuki brush using downward strokes for a light finish, or in a circular motion for greater coverage, to all the spots where the sun usually shines (i.e. the forehead, cheeks, nose and chin).

You can purchase this winter essential @ http://www.lamav.com/shop/sunkissed-bronzer/ for the very reasonable price of $29.95AUD.

NSS Loves… La Mav’s Jojoba Beads & Argan Oil Exfoliating Scrub

It’s a cardinal beauty sin not to exfoliate your skin!

Exfoliating is essential for removing dead skin cells to revitalise skin and promote cellular renewal.

I’ve recently been testing a new facial scrub: La Mav’s Exfoliating Scrub with Jojoba Beads and Argan Oil. It’s a gentle but effective skin exfoliant which evens and brightens the complexion. The micro jojoba beads gently buff the skin’s surface, whilst the natural peptides do their thing to cleanse away nasty impurities.

When showering, I apply the scrub to my face, neck and décolletage massaging in a circular motion. I then gently dry my face with a microfibre towel.

Since using this scrub I can confidently say I feel a definite improvement in my skin’s texture. It’s smoother and, to my surprise, hydrated (some scrubs I’ve used in the past have severely dehydrated my skin!).

All of La Mav’s products are Australian made from certified organic ingredients.

You can grab yourself a tube of the exfoliant for $26.95AUD at www.lamav.com.au .
