Recreate this Look: "The Illusion of Romance"

by Miriam Nichterlein, Beauty Editor

Model, Penelope Boucher, was my beautiful canvas for our debut fashion editorial, "The Illusion of Romance". Her milky skin and doll-like features made it easy to achieve a flawless look.

To recreate Penelope's look, simply follow the steps below:

Step 1 - Base: Use Giorgio Armani Luminous Skin in 5.5 ($66 Strawberry Net).  Squeeze a generous amount of product onto your hand and then gently pat over the surface of your face.  This product is a cult favourite, as it conceals, smoothes and illuminates with minimal effort.

Step 2 - Under-eye concealor: Use Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat No: 1 ($55 Myer). Click the pen and apply the product to the back of your hand. Using your index finger, press the product into the hollow of the eyes and inner corners to correct blue hues, illuminate the skin and reflect light.

Step 3 - Highlighter: Use Becca Jewel Dust Sparkling Powder in ‘Asrai’ ($21 Strawberry Net). Using a soft brush and a small amount of product, lightly dust this product on the top of cheekbones, along the bridge of the nose and, ever so slightly, on the top of the cupid's bow of your lips.

Step 4 - Eyes: Use Becca Ultimate Crème Eyeliner in ‘Belle Epoque’ ($24 Strawberry Net). I used this eyeliner all over Penelope's lid and blended to create an elongated shape. Then, I lined the water line with MAC Technokohl and smoked the edges with a cue tip.

Step 5 - Blush: Use Becca Crème Blush in ‘Turkish rose’ ($39 Adore Beauty). Apply this product on the apples of the cheeks to achieve a rosy glow.

Step 6 - Setting: Use Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder ($48 Strawberry Net). Once you have finished applying your make-up, powder the T-zone with this product to keep skin looking dewy and shiny.
